Course Introduction
Hot work activities such as welding, cutting, grinding, and soldering present unique fire and life safety risks when performed outside designated shop areas. Our Hot Work Permit Training Program is designed to educate employees, contractors, and supervisors on the safe planning, execution, and oversight of these operations. Participants will learn about fire prevention measures, permitting procedures, hazard recognition, and the responsibilities of both permit issuers and workers. This training promotes a culture of safety by ensuring that hot work is performed in compliance with codes, regulations, and institutional policies. Helping to reduce risk and protect people and property.
