For the safety and protection of the trainee the following is required prior to attending LARC NB ABSL2 Training
What are the prerequisites for this course?
- must be IACUC approved
- Complete online LARC Facility Introduction (online)
- Attended LARC NB Facility Basic Orientation (in-person) training
What is this course about?
This is an hour training course that will cover the procedures and processes which are required when working in Animal Biosafety Level 2 (ABSL2) LARC housing rooms. This course includes an online presentation that will discuss topics such as room entry, personal protective equipment, and bagging of cages.
Who should attend this course?
For research faculty and staff working in the ABSL2 housing rooms in the LARC NB facility.
