Course Introduction

This recorded webinar explores the increasingly common conditions known as anxiety disorders, including diagnostic criteria, various contributing factors, and effective treatment. In addition, we describe how to support employees with anxiety disorders so that they can continue to add value to your organization.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, learners will be able to:
  • Define anxiety disorder and how it is diagnosed.
  • Recognize different types of anxiety disorders, potential causes, and management strategies.
  • Recognize the roles cultural and psychological factors play in its manifestation, treatment, and stigma.
  • Identify universal design principles and accommodations that support applicants with anxiety disorders.
  • Explain how you can support employees with anxiety disorders to promote well-being and productivity.
  • Describe how supporting employees with anxiety disorders benefits your organization.

Enrollment Details

This course will be offered monthly with closure on the last day of the month. The cost is $49.00.

Registration for each course will open monthly. The course takes approximately 1 hour to complete.

SHRM and HRCI credits:

  • HRCI: This program has been approved for 1 HR (General) recertification credit hour toward aPHR®, aPHRi™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™, and SPHRi™ recertification through the HR Certification Institute.
  • SHRM: This program has been approved for 1 SHRM Professional Development Credits. Please follow the instructions under the Certificate tab in this course to generate your certificate for proof of course completion.
