Course Introduction

Schools that focus on students with disabilities who are in the transition to adulthood have shown great success. These programs help students reach their specific postsecondary goals. This course in the transition miniseries will give the participant considerations about transition programs and information about how to develop a quality program within a school district.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, learners will be able to:
  • Know the characteristics of quality transition programs.
  • Know how to collaborate within a transition program.

This course will be offered on an open enrollment schedule. The cost is $0.

Earn professional development credits (PGP hours) upon course completion. The course takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
