Course Introduction

Student involvement in their education and transition to adulthood is mandated by federal law. Whether you are new to transition or a veteran, it is always important to remain focused on the purpose of transition planning. This course in the miniseries will focus on the importance of self-determination for students with disabilities.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, learners will be able to:
  • Understand active student involvement and self-determination.
  • Know student involvement resources.
