Meet the Instructors
Dr. Lucy Fischman is an assistant research scientist with the Center on Education and Lifelong Learning (CELL) at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community and is partnering with the Indiana Resource Center for Autism for the IALC initiative. Fischman has an Ed.D. in Education Leadership and Policy from Indiana University; MS in Strategic Management from IU Kelley School of Business. Her work is often oriented to experiences in rural Indiana schools, equity in opportunity for all students, school leadership and implementation science.
Dr. Fischman was a social studies teacher and building administrator in Monroe County Community Schools for 15 years prior to working at CELL and remains active as a public school advocate.
