Course Overview

The first part of this two-semester first-year physics course covers basic concepts of physics and the mathematical tools required to work with them. Includes one-dimensional kinematics, vectors, projectile motion, Newton's laws, circular motion and gravitation.

The course is designed for third year of high school or higher.

Prerequisite

One year of high school algebra and one year of high school geometry is preferred and recommended. Some basic elements of trigonometry are introduced and used.
